Depressed? Anxious? Unfulfilled? Are you stuck in the same cycle of behaviour but can’t seem to find a way out?

Then individual therapy is for you.

The invitation

Some things aren’t easy to hold alone. The alone-ness of it just doubles the struggle.

I invite you to share whatever challenge you might be facing. Just giving voice to what troubles you releases the pressure and opens your situation up for change.

Together we can build a shared understanding of what might be troubling you. And start to ask big questions: what are the reasons for the situation you’re facing? Why won’t it change? What is the path that lets you grow and develop so the problem you face dissolves?

As a trained psychologist, I have the expertise to help you understand and navigate your inner world.

And maybe as important, I can set aside the doctorate and sit with you as a companion - listening without judgement - as you shed old ways and find the new.

Together we will spend time bringing compassion to your darkest, most confused and painful parts of yourself and form a clear path of how you want to develop and grow.

My way of working

The therapy journey itself can take many forms.

These can include creating a visual map of your the inner psyche so you can track what ‘roles’ or ‘parts’ of yourself are in action.

It can also involve writing narratives about yourself, your experience, and the once-adaptive responses you have learnt that now keep you re-experiencing the same old thing.

We may also connect with the imaginal part of you, using different levels of your consciousness to explore your inner landscape through mindfulness, meditation, dream work and imagination- based practices.

All of these practices can help us get closer to the truth of who you really are and reclaim parts of yourself that help you move to a more joyful, connected way of being in life.

While grounded in sound clinical theory, my work is intuitive, relational and transpersonal. I take a holistic approach, with the idea that unification of body, mind, spirit, nature is key. My approach is a fusion of western psychological approaches, eastern philosophy, and emerging understanding by world thought leaders. My 15 years as a psychologist, nature lover and seeker, gives me both a breath and depth of experience to draw upon to meet you in the way you need to be met.

Every change requires a first step.. And this could be yours.

Therapy offers a way for the most painful parts of yourself to transform into something new. It all begins with giving those confused parts a voice - in a space where they’ll be met with understanding, compassion and true listening.

Crisis and chaos often precede transcendent change when they are met..

I choose to transform
